The Boeing 777

Launched in 1990, the Boeing 777 has developed a reputation of being a class leading and efficient aircraft.  With more than 1200 built and many more on order, a 777 takes off every minute somewhere around the world.  However, as technological inventions are made and new techniques discovered, Boeing decided in 2013 that it was time for the 777 to have a revamp.  The 777X program was launched in late 2013, with two aircraft on offer - the 777-8X and 777-9X.  Marc Chere will talk about why and how this aircraft is the future of aviation.
