About

​Avionics (Aviation Electronics) has been my passion ever since I entered college. The simple thought of an aircraft flying without an auto-pilot or navigation systems is dementing. Nowadays, a huge amount of Electronics is involved in modern aircraft, both for commercial and military applications. I am majoring in Electronic Engineering and am one of the few which have a deep interest and passion in aviation as well as electronics. My core area of study in the university includes RF antennas and control of complex bodies both of which are essential pillars in Avionics. It is my goal to achieve excellence in the field of Electronics and find the applications to Aviation and therefore, I am also doing the Aeronautical Engineering Minor offered by the Mechanical and Aerospace Department at HKUST. 

 

AIAA gives me an ideal platform to explore in depth the field of Aviation and Avionics in particular. I also wish to inspire other Electronic Engineers to learn and apply the concepts of Electronic Engineering in aviation.
