About
My interest in aviation has been nurtured since junior secondary, when I took my very first course related to aviation as part of the requirement for the Chief Scout Award in Scout Association of Hong Kong. Then I began to explore the principles behind an aircraft via textbooks / online, and gradually my fascination towards aeronautics grew as I knew more about all aspects associated with the aviation industry.
I felt lucky that I entered HKUST and eventually chose my major as Mechanical Engineering (minor in Aeronautical Engineering as well), where I can receive high quality systemactic training in developing my knoeldge and skills that help equip myself in becoming an professional Aeronautical Engineer. This also account for the main reason why I'm joining the AIAA student branch, aiming to get more exposure to AE industry and meet more industrial professionals.
Other experience include as an ex-participant of the Dragonair Aviation Certificate Programme (2013), the Advanced Aviation Education Program (organized by the Hong Kong Air Cadet Crops), while I'm currently one of the core members of Aeronautics Interest Group of HKUST - another student-run society focus on interest developing towards aviation among the University community.
